Can I wash my WONDA bikini in the washing mashine?

Yes, you can wash it at 30° (no hotter). However, we recommend you to predominantly hand wash it and not to wash it in the washing machine too often.

What is the fabric of the bikinis made of?

We use an eco-sustainable techno-woven fabric called Carvico. 78% of the fabric is regenerated nylon which means that it’s fully recycled from plastic waste. The yarn comes from a company called Aquafil which uses a unique process to process old plastic waste into new nylon. They collect plastic waste from the ocean as well as from landfills, sort it and then regenerate it. The other 22% is Elastane which is necessary for swimwear as it gives the needed permanent elasticity which is required.

Carvico is high-quality fabric and has the following features:

Where is my WONDA bikini made?

The factory that produces our WONDA bikinis is located in Lisbon in Portugal – very close to our Lisbon office. The factory is very small and only produces for a few smaller swimwear brands. We are visiting the factory every week to always be sure that everything is going well and that the gorgeous ladies who are sewing our products are happy.

All our bikinis are made with a lot of love and dedication. Therefore the production takes a little bit more time compared to what you might be used to from other fashion companies. Fair and ethical production takes its time. However, we always make sure that we have a case stock available for you, but we will probably not be able to always have all our models in stock. In this case, you might just need to wait a little bit, however, there is one thing you can be sure about: the patience will pay off.

What if my WONDA bikini is broken or doesn't fit me anymore?

The beauty of the fabric our WONDA bikinis are made of is not only that it’s recycled but also recyclable infinitely without ever losing its quality. We want to make use of this amazing opportunity to further minimize the impact our business has on the environment. In case of damage or if at some point your WONDA bikini doesn’t fit you anymore, we are currently working on implementing a return and recycling program.

My WONDA is broken? What can I do?

We have a two-year warranty period upon delivery of our products. This period applies to damages that arise from quality issues and that reasonably cannot be foreseen assuming a normal usage of the products. Although we are only using high-quality materials and every product is handmade with the highest care, we are only humans, so mistakes happen. In case such quality damage arises, send us an email with pictures and your order number and after professional evaluation, we refund or exchange your product.

In case your product is already broken upon the arrival of your order, please inform us within 2 working days by sending an email to Lucy with photos of the damage.

Please note that damages that arose from wrong handling, usage, bad luck, or similar cannot be returned. Please read the care instructions for your products, so that they get the care that they deserve.

If the warranty doesn’t apply, we can still help you to fix your WONDA product. Costs apply here, but your efforts will be worth it: You’ll get a 15% voucher for your friends or your next purchase with every repair or voluntary return. We definitely appreciate your efforts to use your WONDA product as long as possible. So please don’t hesitate to contact us!

How can I repair my WONDA bikini?

You had an unfortunate damage and your WONDA needs to be fixed? We can fix your WONDA product at our manufacturer in Portugal. Costs apply here and the process might need a few weeks, but your efforts will be worth it: You’ll get a 15% voucher for your friends or your next purchase with every repair or voluntary return. We definitely appreciate your efforts to use your WONDA product as long as possible. So please don’t hesitate to contact Lucy!

Shipping & Return

What countries do you ship to? What shipping provider do you work with?

We are shipping Europe-wide for free! We are working together with German logistics company DHL whenever we ship from Germany. All our orders are shipped carbon-neutral with DHL GoGreen. Your order usually takes around 5-10 business days to arrive.

How long does the shipping take?

Your order usually takes around 5-10 business days to arrive. Some unexpected circumstances might affect this ETA but it arrives rather sooner than later. You can track your order with the tracking details that DHL sends you. You cannot find them? Log into your account on our website or send an email to lucy@wondaswim.com.

What does the shipping cost?

Nothing! We cover all shipping costs, the shipping is free for you!

Can I return my WONDA bikini? What are the return conditions?

You have the possibility to return your purchase without any specific claims about a return reason within 2 weeks (14 days) after you placed your order. You have to bear the costs of return.

We kindly ask you to THINK BEFORE YOU BUY, and to THINK ABOUT OUR ENVIRONMENT!

Before you order your bikini, please try to carefully read our product and size descriptions, take our fitting questionnaire and inform yourself in the best possible way (feel free to always contact us if you are unsure about size and style). In this way, we can manage to minimize unnecessary returns. Keep in mind that every single shipping has its impact on our communities carbon footprint and of course, we want to keep it as low as possible. Since we are closing our shop, returned items can most likely not be sold anymore.

However, in case you do want to send your bikini back to us, please follow these steps:

  1. Inform us (preferably send an email to lucy@wondaswim.com) within the withdrawal period of two weeks and state
    • your order number
    • what pieces you would like to return
    • (and if you like) why you would like to return them
  2. Send the pieces that you announced to Teresa Brouwers, Sparrstraße 3a, 13353 Berlin with the delivery company of your choice. Make sure, that you also get a tracking number. We are not liable for the loss of your delivery.
  3. Once we have received the returned parcel, your money will be returned in the same payment method you have used in a maximum 30 days.

Our shop will not pay any taxes or customs fees for the returned items. ​If the error, however, was on our side (wrong or damaged product), we will, of course, support the cost of postage.

How can I exchange my WONDA bikini?

Please inform us (preferably send an email to lucy@wondaswim.com) within the withdrawal period of two weeks and state that (and if you like also state why) you would like to return the product(s) that you don’t want to keep.

We will send you a DPD return label via email, which you glue on your parcel, and then just drop off at any DPD drop-off point close to you.

At the same time, you visit our shop and order the products that you want – like usually. Once we have received the returned parcel from your first order, your money will be returned in the same payment method that you have used during the checkout within a maximum of 30 days.

How can I place an order?

You can easily place your order in our online shop. Simply add your preferred products to the cart and follow the steps to proceed the checkout from there.

How can I cancel or change an order?

In case you want to change something about the order you have placed or even want to cancel it, please Contact us as soon as possible. Within one hour after your purchase, we can still help you with this.

After that your order might have been processed already. But don’t hesitate to doublecheck with Lucy.

I haven't received my purchase yet. How can I track my order?

Find your order number in your purchase confirmation email and type it here:

To track your order please enter your Order ID in the box below and press the "Track" button. This was given to you on your receipt and in the confirmation email you should have received.

My package was marked delivered, but I never received it.

If your package is marked delivered, but you never received it, follow these steps:

  1. Check around your home/apartment in case the postal carrier placed the package in an odd spot.
  2. Ask your neighbors as they may have received your package instead.
  3. Reach out to your local post office for information regarding the package.

If you still cannot locate your package, please contact us and we will provide assistance!

Please note: Packages may be delayed due to weather conditions, natural error, or unforeseen events.

I had problems during the checkout. Is my order complete?

If your payment went through and you got a confirmation email with the subject “Payment received for your order” then all is fine 🙂

If you didn’t get that email and you are concerned about your payment status, please contact Lucy.

What are the payment options that I have in the checkout?

In order to process payments, we work together with 2 differnent providers  – Paypal and Stripe.

For paying with Paypal you can simply pay with your Paypal Account.

With stripe you don’t need any kind of account. You can just choose between one of the following payment options:

  • Credit Card
  • SOFORT (only available in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Netherlands & Spain)
  • Pay later (only available for pre-orders)

I pre ordered a bikini, but I don't want it anymore. What can I do?

We are sorry that you decided to not buy your WONDA bikini anymore.

But we are sure that you will have your reasons. Just send Lucy an email, saying that and why you want to cancel your pre-order. She will review your inquiry and if its still possible to cancel the order

Fit & Shopping Experience

Do I get a discount when I buy a bikini set?

Buying only a bikini top from our black collection will cost you 54€ and 49€ for a bikini bottom.

In case you choose to buy a bikini set you get a discount of 13€. This means that your bikini set (one top and one bottom) costs  you 90€ in the end.

The discounted set price will automatically show up in your cart whenever you place one top and one bottom in there.

How can I find out what size I need and what bikini would fit best to me?

We developed a quiz that helps you to find your perfect bikini style and size.

Also, in the product descriptions, we gave some recommendations regarding the size of that specific model. Please make sure to check them to be sure that the product meets your requirements.

I am experiencing technical issues with your website. What should I do?

I am not receiving emails from WONDA. What can I do?

When signing up to WONDA you’ll be requested to consent to receive Marketing subscriptions after placing your first order. If you don’t confirm when registering your account, then the only emails you will receive are order and return confirmation emails, any responses from our Customer Care team and any emails we feel contain important information that you should hear about.

If you did consent, there may be a number of reasons why you’re not getting these from us. It’s worth carrying out the following checks:

  1. Check your junk/spam
    Your email software may be marking our emails as junk mail. To stop this from happening, please add info@wondaswim.com to your email address book.
  2. Make sure you typed in the correct email address when you signed up with us. Just sign in to your account (if you can remember which email address you used) to check this.
  3. If you can’t identify the problem, ask Lucy what’s going on.

I don't want to get Marketing emails from WONDA anymore. How can I unsubscribe?

We are sad that you want to leave us, but don’t worry you can always rejoin our amazing community of #wondawomen.

If you want to unsubscribe, go to the last email we sent you and scroll down. Click “unsubscribe” and you won’t get any more emails that do not regard your order or purchase.
